On Mount Calvary, there were three types of men crucified:

The unrepentant thief who mocked Jesus while on the Cross in Luke 23:39 ‘And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.”

Notice how he says “If” thou be Christ.

He didn’t recognize Jesus as being the Messiah.

He is sorry he’s in his position, not repentant of his sins.

Just trying to save himself.

The Unrepentant Theif had sin in him and sin on him.

He went to hell after he died a few hours later.

The same place as the Rich man in Luke 16:19-31.

Then there’s the Repentant thief who acknowledged Jesus as being God.

Luke 23:40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? “And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.” “And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.” Jesus said, “Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise”

The Repentant Thief became a saved child of God.

He recognized he deserved hell, recognized Jesus as being God, he even proclaimed that Jesus didn’t deserve punishment. (in other words was sinless)

This thief had sin in him, but no sin on him.

Jesus took it away. (I think I should like to meet him when we get to Heaven)

The third one, Jesus, had no sin in Him, but He took our sins upon Him so that we could be with Him in Heaven.

All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. We all have sin in us.

We all deserve Hell.

It is only by the Grace of God that we have this opportunity.

Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.

Jesus is God.

Acknowledging His Death, Burial, and Resurrection for us is the only way we can be Born Again.

We must recognize that what Jesus did on the cross was for us.

It’s a gift that the Father provided for us.

We have to understand that there is nothing other than Jesus can save us.

Jesus is our advocate, our Lawyer if you will.

He will plead our case for us at the Judgement Seat of Christ.

Only then can your sins can be taken off of you.

Works can’t save you.

The blood of bulls and goats can’t save you.

It’s only through the blood-bought gift of Jesus Christ our Lord.

I hope these videos ring true to you and that you will accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior.

If you are Jewish, I hope you recognize Jesus as the promised Messiah.

He’s the one spoken of in Isaiah 53 and Proverbs 30:4.
