Genesis 22:8
In Genesis 22:8, Abraham prophesied that God would provide Himself a lamb — a prophecy pointing to Jesus as the Lamb of God. Modern translations change this to God merely providing a lamb for a sacrifice, eliminating the prophetic significance entirely.
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. — 2 Timothy 2:15
Frequently Asked Questions

Does it really matter? Yes. Yes it does.
Additional Documentation
One of the things that makes the Bible unique beyond all other books is the prophecy found in it.
In Genesis 22:8 we find Abraham prophesying God would provide Himself as a lamb (Jesus being the Lamb of God).
The new translations change the prophecy to merely God sending a lamb to be slain.
God didn’t send a lamb which made Abraham a liar.
In the immediate text, God sent a ram which is the father of a lamb.
This is one of the major verses that the New King James matches the new translation and eliminates the prophecy.
