1 Peter 1:22 "Through the Spirit"

1 Peter 1:22 KJB - "Seeing ye have purified your SOULS in obeying the truth THROUGH THE SPIRIT unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a PURE heart fervently"

In this verse, the important words "THROUGH THE SPIRIT" (δια πνευματος), tell us that it is through the power of the Spirit of God that we believe the gospel.

This reading is found in the Majority of all manuscripts, including K, L, P and many others
