What’s In Your Bible Acts 1:3 Infallible or Convincing?

"To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:"

In this verse we are concerned about the word “Infallible.”

Jesus showed many infallible proofs to prove He is God.

Not just proof, Infallible proof.

What do the new versions say?

NIV gave many convincing proofs

ESV many proofs

NASV convincing proofs

New World Translation: convincing proofs.

Remember when King Agrippa was almost persuaded?

Acts 26:28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.

Paul presented many convincing proofs but Agrippa wasn’t convinced.

Whereas, Jesus presented infallible proofs.

Paul could only present the convincing story of Jesus being resurrected

whereas Jesus Himself was walking, talking, living, breathing,

and healing infallible proof.

Are you convinced?

To some people even infallible proof isn’t enough.

Judas spent 3 years as a disciple with Jesus witnessing every infallible miracle, hearing every infallible teaching, and quite possibly having done miracles through the power of God and he still wasn’t convinced.

Is the Bible a convincing infallible proof?

What would Jesus have to do to prove Himself to you?
