What do the new versions Say?
NIV Gone
ESV Missing here too
NASV Brackets in my edition.
New World Translation: Matches the missing ones.
This entire verse is found in the Majority of all texts, as well as the Old Latin and the Syriac Peshitta, both of which predate Sinaiticus and Vaticanus.
The Egyptian Vaticanus and Sinaiticus manuscripts omit the entire verse.
Now the NASV did not include it in 1960 and 72, but then put it back in in 77 and 95, then in 2020 with brackets.
While the NIV doesn’t have it, the Portuguese NIV has it.
All Reformation Bibles have it.
