Hebrews 9:4 Censer vs. Golden Altar of Incense

The Censer was located on top of the Golden Altar of Incense. It contained God’s special recipe of incense that no one was allowed to have. All throughout the year the Levitical priests would take the coals from off the Brazen Altar and use them to burn the incense. (You might remember Nadab and Abihu who God killed for using strange fire that wasn’t from the Brazen Altar) Once a year, the High Priest would take the censer from off the Golden Altar of Incense and place it in the Holy of Holies before he went in to apply the sacrifice for the atonement. If he didn’t God would kill him. They didn’t place the entire altar in the Holy of Holies, just the censer. The new translations place the Golden Altar of Incense in the Holy of Holies which is a blasphemous translation. No Jew would accept any New Testament that had the Tabernacle/Temple furniture placed in the wrong rooms. Study to shew thyself approved unto God!
