Easter Clarification
Since my Acts 12:4 post on Easter being the correct translation, I've received several posts implying that I follow or support the current pagan practices of Easter bunnies, Easter Egg hunts, chocolate candy etc. etc.
I do not support or celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with pagan practices. My children were never tainted with such games. They were raised all their lives that Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus and that without the resurrection, there is no Christianity.
Lucifer will not rest until every man, woman, and child is distracted from the Resurrection. If he can't cause doubt as to not believing Jesus rose from the dead, he will distract you from paying attention like playing games, getting candy, and anything else he can use.
If you participate in Easter egg hunts, games, and easter bunnies, I hope you will consider the serious implications about how that fits with the greatest event of our faith. God was angry with His chosen people when they were performing sacrifices and fasting but not keeping God in their minds. He rebuked them, have you fasted for me? even for me? When you celebrate the Resurrection by having Easter egg hunts, do you do it for God?
