Wine, Vinegar contradiction?

What’s In Your Bible: Did Jesus drink wine, vinegar, or nothing at all on the Cross?

This post is from a Muslim who mocks the Bible and Jesus Christ not having read the Bible in context.

This passage is covered in all 4 Gospels

Matt 27:34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.

Mark 15:23 And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not.

Luke 23:36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,

John 19: 29-30 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. 30When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

The person in this video is assuming Jesus was only offered something to drink once so therefore a contradiction.

What do we know?

Matthew: Jesus was offered Vinegar mixed with gall.

Mark: Jesus was offered Wine mingled with Myrrh.

Luke: Jesus was offered vinegar but it isn’t stated as to if Jesus partook of it.

John: Jesus was offered vinegar on hyssop.

There are 5 different elements: Vinegar, wine, gall, myrrh, and hyssop.

Jesus rejected the Vinegar mixed with gall in Matthew.

This is a reference and fulfillment of prophecy to Psalm 69:21 “They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.”

Jesus rejected the wine mingled with myrrh in Mark.

(Remember when Jesus was born the wise men brought Myrrh?)

Myrrh is an analgesic to kill the pain. Jesus refused the painkiller and took on ALL of our sin, and the pain of it

Jesus took the vinegar on Hyssop in John.

This is the fulfillment of the hyssop dipped in blood of a lamb and sprinkled on the doorposts of the houses of the Jews in Egypt. This was the night of the firstborn being killed when the Holy Spirit passed over the houses that had blood on the doorposts.

By the context, there were at least 3 times drink offerings were made.

Not a contradiction, but a purpose and meaning behind each verse.
